Kate is inspired by the Blue Mountains, where she lives and paints. Overlaying rhythmic forms are created by line and colour, evoking a musicality in her artworks. This semi-abstract piece depicts Australian native flora and silvereye finches. There is a sense of joyful wonder in Kate’s playful nature series of Banksia.
